Our initiatives

ClimateLaunchpad is growing and going global with 35+ countries participating in 2017 from Europe and beyond, with Kenya, Australia and India being amongst the exciting newcomers to the competition. For the 4th consecutive year, Chrysalis LEAP ran the ClimateLaunchpad competition for Cyprus and Greece with 18 teams participating in the programme. This year's competition attracted the record number of 1,000 clean-tech entrepreneurs applying for national competitions in 35 countries across the globe.

 

The teams fought through bootcamps, coaching sessions and national finals and the best 6 start-ups competed at the Global Grand Final which took place on the 17th-18th of October in Limassol, Cyprus. The programme was supported by strategic partner PwC Cyprus and sponsors Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement and George Z Georgiou and Associates LLC.
