CleanLaunchpad competition 2014
In 2014, we were invited by Climate-KIC to participate in CleanLaunchpad, a clean-tech business ideas competition that ran in 11 countries at the time, and Chrysalis LEAP was responsible for running the competition in both Cyprus AND Greece combined into one event, which was sponsored by EY. Over 70 applications were received and 10 teams were selected to participate in the competition.
These teams were trained over a two-day boot camp and 6 follow-up coaching sessions. At the national final, once all 10 teams had pitched their idea, the best 3 were selected who would participate in the European Finals in Valencia, competing against all other countries.
We had a blast and gave our teams an experience they will never forget and a solid grounding on their business ideas. One of our European finalist teams, albeit not in the top 10 selected, was accepted to join Climate-KIC's accelerator program.
