Climate-KIC Regional Innovation Scheme Stage 2 Acceleration Program
In the 4th quarter of 2016, Chrysalis LEAP ran, for the first time, Stage 2 of the Climate-KIC Accelerator Program as part of the Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) for EIT (European Institute of Innovation & Technology).
From a pool of candidate applicants, 8 teams that had successfully undergone ClimateLaunchpad, were selected to participate in the program.
The teams underwent 2 intensive 2-day local boot camps and 1 international boot camp which took place in Rimini, Italy. They were mentored and coached, received funding to work on their ideas, travelled for training and exhibitions (including the Ecomondo Fair in Rimini, one of the largest green exhibitions globally) and significantly improved their business models and strengthened their value propositions by talking to actual customers.
